Control your RV door with your smartphone using this Bluetooth lock. Skip the keys and codes - just use the free Apple or Android app to lock or unlock. A simple, secure way to streamline your setup and hit the road faster.
Digging for keys or punching in a code is the last thing you want to deal with when you're packing up or getting in late. With the Global Link Connect app, you can lock or unlock your RV door straight from your phone - no contact needed. The connection works within 120 feet and is supported on Apple iOS 14+ and Android OS 6+. It's one less thing to juggle when your hands are full and you're ready to hit the road.
No need to invest in new gear - this lock works with the smartphone you're already using. The free Global Link Connect app is compatible with most mobile devices running iOS 14 or newer and Android OS 6 or newer. Just a heads up: its not currently supported on Google-branded phones like Nexus or Pixel.
Whether it's raining, dark, or both, the backlit keypad makes it easy to punch in your code. The locks faceplate is made from powder-coated aluminum and backed by a die-cast zinc plate, so it holds up well in all kinds of weather. You'll get consistent performance, season after season, without worrying about rust or fading from sun exposure.
In the rare event that the deadbolt lever fails or jams, the safety release slider inside the RV gives you a reliable way out. It's built into the design, so you and your family have a backup plan for a quick exit - especially important during an emergency when every second counts.
Swapping this lock in is simple if you're replacing a Global Link MRL-41510-2006 or a Trimark 030-0900 that doesn't use a linkage rod. It fits standard 4.6" x 6.9" cutouts, so you won't need to drill or modify your door.
If you already have Global Link locks, this model can be rekeyed to match your 500 series keys. The updated 6-wafer cylinder also allows rekeying to 300 or 900 series keys, giving you some flexibility if you're managing multiple locks across your RV setup.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we are taking a look at the Global Link RV lock with Bluetooth connectivity. So how cool is that, folks So with this lock you can download a free app, the Global Link Connect app to be exact, and you can use Bluetooth and that app to lock or unlock this lock system within 120 feet of your RV, or camper, or trailer. Now that app does work with Apple iOS 14 plus and Android OS 6 plus. And it does have a built-in safety release, so in the rare event that the deadbolt would ever fail or anything, you could simply pull this lever here up, and that's gonna manually lift that deadbolt up out of the way in the event of emergency so you can quickly get out if God forbid there was ever an issue or something with it jamming or whatnot.
So a very fast, reliable way out from the inside out. It is built into the design. And everything here as far as the front is a backlit keypad. And obviously, I don't have this powered up or installed or anything. It does use batteries.
I'm gonna go ahead and leave that in there. I don't wanna activate anything since it is keyed specifically for the particular user in this case. So again, a backlit keypad. You have numbers one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, zero, and the little star symbol. And you have your deadbolt lock up here and your regular door handle lock right here.
So the backlit design makes it easy to access day or night in any conditions. It's easy to see. And obviously, you have your lock and unlock here at the top. Then you have another one down here at the bottom as well. So it's only three bolts that are included that are holding it in place.
And then when everything's unlocked, you can open the door easily. And on the backside, when it's unlocked, you literally just pull in this so it's a quick pull out, and then you're able to open that door. So I'm leaving it all together here. There's only really just a bunch of electronics inside of there. There we go. And then everything matches up, obviously, just like every other door does. And then you put your hardware in place and you're good to go. You do get two nice keys here. They have been keyed specifically for this particular lock. Now, what's neat about these locks from Global Link is that they are compatible with Global Link's 500 series six wafer cylinders. So if you already have something and you wanna re-key it to your specific keys, you can do that on your own separately. Now, as far as some quick dimensions, of this particular product, overall, I get about 5 3/8 inches on a width. And then on the length, if you'll notice, the outside part is longer than the inside, so I'm gonna start with the inside, and I get roughly 7 3/4 quarters. And on the exterior one here, the longer one, I get roughly 8 3/4 quarters. So 7 3/4, 8 3/4. That's about the size of the unit. Well, folks, then we'll wrap it up for our quick look together at this Global Link RV lock with Bluetooth connectivity. I'm Steven. We have not been able to reset the factory set pass code # to our own. The directions are not clear weather we need to enter the *at first then again after the *4numbers* ?

Hi Brian. Sorry for your difficulties, but you do need to initially hit the * key before putting in the code (which will "wake up" the pads) and then the * once that code is entered. Once the key pad is awake, you do not need to hit the * at the beginning of your code again unless you enter said code incorrectly. Let me know if that doesn't make sense or if it still isn't working. What did you install this on?
